The Sultanate’s leading pipe manufacturer, Gulf International Pipe Industry (GIPI) LLC, was recently awarded two orders for 700KM & 900KM - Total 33,200MT of 6” line pipes (flow lines pipes) order from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO). GIPI is the only manufacturer of 6" to 24" Diameter high pressure Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) Steel Pipes in Oman and will commence delivery of this orders from December 2016.
Gulf International Pipe Industry (GIPI) was established as a Limited Liability Company in Sultanate of Oman in January 2007. GIPI is the first manufacturer of high pressure steel line pipes and casing pipes in Oman and the first mill in MENA region and subcontinent of India to manufacture high pressure 24” electric resistance welded (ERW) steel pipes.
