The Sultanate’s leading pipe manufacturer, Gulf International Pipe Industry (GIPI) LLC has completed delivery of J55 casing pipes to BP Oman.
BP Exploration (Epsilon) Ltd ordered 18-5/8”, 87.5ppf J55 BTC R3 casings from GIPI earlier this year (6,100 meters) for an urgent requirement and delivered to BP Oman on time.
Gulf International Pipe Industry (GIPI) was established as a Limited Liability Company in Sultanate of Oman in January 2007. GIPI is the first manufacturer of high pressure steel line pipes and casing pipes in Oman and the first mill in MENA region and subcontinent of India to manufacture high pressure 24” electric resistance welded (ERW) steel pipes.
